This disclaimer applies to grindstoneracing.com and all related product pages, collection pages, advertisements, emails, social media content, photographs, videos, packaging and marketing materials where reference may be made to Formula 1, F1, the FIA, NASCAR, Grand Prix or race events, racing teams, drivers, car manufacturers, sponsors, historic racing liveries, colors, numbers or related motorsport subjects.
Its purpose is to help customers understand the commercial status of Grindstone Racing's F1-inspired, karting-inspired and NASCAR-inspired products. It does not grant Grindstone Racing, or any customer, ownership of, or a license to use, intellectual property belonging to another party.
2. Independent Business — No Affiliation or Endorsement
Grindstone Racing operates independently. We are not part of, controlled by or acting on behalf of Formula One Management, the Formula One group of companies, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), NASCAR, any Formula 1 or NASCAR team, any driver, any racing series, any vehicle manufacturer or any sponsor.
No reference on this website should be read as evidence of an official business relationship, partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, collaboration or approval unless that relationship is clearly and specifically confirmed in writing on the relevant product page. 4. Trademarks, Names, Logos and Intellectual Property
Formula 1, F1, FIA, NASCAR, Grand Prix names, team names, driver names, vehicle manufacturer names, sponsor names, championship names, logos, emblems, race numbers, liveries, color combinations and other identifying marks may be trademarks, copyrighted works, design rights or other intellectual property owned by their respective rights holders.
All third-party trademarks, logos, names, photographs, graphics and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. Grindstone Racing does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property, and does not claim that the presence of a name, mark or color scheme creates a license, endorsement or official association.
References may be used to describe the visual inspiration, historic racing context or style of a product. Such descriptive references must not be understood as a statement that the product is official, authorized or licensed. A website disclaimer does not replace any permission or license that may be legally required for the use of third-party intellectual property; Grindstone Racing may review, revise or remove product content when necessary or after receiving a valid request from a rights holder.
5. Product Images, Design Variations and Team/Driver References
Product photographs and mockups are provided to describe the item being offered. Colors may look different because of lighting, screen settings, fabric type, printing method and production updates. Small differences in logo placement, patch position, embroidery, stitching or trim may occur between units, since each suit is made to order.
A product image showing a racing-inspired design does not prove official licensing, team approval or driver endorsement — rely on the written licensing statement on the individual product page rather than visual resemblance. Any reference to a team, driver, manufacturer or sponsor is made only to identify the design's subject or inspiration. No such reference should be read as a statement that the named party designed, manufactured, supplied, approved or receives revenue from the product, or that Grindstone Racing is an authorized reseller or official merchandise partner. Driver names, likenesses and numbers may also involve personality or publicity rights belonging to the relevant individuals; Grindstone Racing does not claim ownership of those rights.
6. No Automatic Racing Safety or Certification Claim
An F1-inspired or NASCAR-inspired appearance does not make a product suitable for professional motorsport use. Grindstone Racing's suits and jackets are lifestyle, fan-wear and collector items and are not automatically fire-resistant, FIA-approved, SFI-certified, CIK-approved or accepted by any race organizer.
A product should only be treated as certified protective equipment when its individual listing clearly states the exact current certification, standard and intended use, and the buyer has independently confirmed that certification is accepted by the relevant event organizer or governing body. Colors, badges, embroidery or racing-style construction do not by themselves prove safety certification.
7. Customer Responsibility, Rights-Holder Requests and Other Store Policies
Before purchasing, customers are responsible for reviewing whether a listing identifies the product as unofficial or officially licensed, the stated materials and intended use, all customization details (names, flags, numbers, spellings), and the current return and shipping conditions. Customers must not describe, advertise or resell an unofficial item as officially licensed, authenticated or endorsed when it is not.
Rights-holder requests. Grindstone Racing respects intellectual-property rights. We may restrict, edit or remove content while a good-faith request is reviewed.
